So many things . . .

Of course this came up in my FB feed, being it’s Turkey day again. I sold his jacket last night to a guy who is a total Pendleton model — who loves it. I still get updates from Frosty’s new home (my “Frosty Fix”). And most of all, I find myself re-imagining my life. I really didn’t spend a lot of time consciously adjusting my life when I retired (10 years ago!). The whirlwind of Mali, and then Will, became my whole very exciting life.

This summer coming home to a flooded house and having to move everything out and replace carpet with flooring, gave me an opportunity to be more deliberate about my life.

I’m still coping with the clutter and “stuff” that came with Will, both his and what we acquired together. And at the same time, my volunteer arm came unbound, and I’m deeply committed to 3 rock and gem clubs and Eastrose Fellowship. I’m more detached from the fellowship than I used to be, and pretty deep in the weeds for the other groups.

My Camp Field co-conspirators have also become closer and I’m grateful to get re-acquainted with them.

Working on the Calendar for 2025 — always a time for remembering the year past and savoring the memories.
